How long have you worked at The Venue Experts?: 10 months.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?: That it’s made up of so many different elements.

What do you think makes The Venue Experts different?: We are a diverse team with different skill sets that, when put together, make our team so strong.

What would you say to wedding venues thinking about getting in touch?: Honestly? We know what works and we can bring people through the venue’s doors. By working with us you don’t just get one social media assistant, because this is what some people think marketing is. We are a full and experienced team of professionals. We will work on ALL aspects of the venue’s marketing, from socials and website to paid ads and everything in between. 

What has been your career highlight at The Venue Experts so far?: I would say my professional growth. When I started, I was basically the whole marketing department! Now I enjoy managing a team of 5 amazing people and together we smash every target we set.

How do you think the rest of The Venue Experts would describe you?: I’d like to think my team feels I’m supportive and knowledgeable – marketing is my one and only passion.

How long have you worked at The Venue Experts?: For about 5 months now – it has flown by so quickly!

What’s your favourite thing about your job?: My favourite thing about my job has got to be the different venues we get to visit and discover, along with learning so many new things from the people I come across through my work. 

What do you think makes The Venue Experts different?: I would say that The Venue Experts differs from a lot of other companies in terms of the acceptance of diversity. It’s totally accepted and encouraged to be different; we see our quirks as our superpowers!

What would you say to wedding venues thinking about getting in touch?: I would tell wedding venues that want to get in touch to go for it! We are always looking to connect with venues and build relationships with the teams that run them – we see them as part of our team. We also have extensive experience working with different types of venues, from country houses and stately homes to barns and international venues. 

What has been your career highlight at The Venue Experts so far?: I think it has to be organising the Spring Showcase at Hodsock Priory with the team. It was a core learning experience that I wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere else. Through working on the showcase, I expanded on my team coordination, event management, and networking skills. We managed to book 490 tickets which is the most I’ve seen since I started working in the wedding industry. It makes me motivated to organise more.

How do you think the rest of The Venue Experts would describe you?: I think they would describe me as a wordsmith and an analytical queen (I do love my Google Analytics). They would most probably add that I’m very obsessed with my cat, Prince, as I have the urge to add him into every descriptive piece about me!

How long have you worked at The Venue Experts?: 2 and a half months, but it feels like I’ve been here for years!

What’s your favourite thing about your job?: That I get to be creative! Stacey (the best boss ever!) encourages us all to find our passion and helps us integrate that into our work.

What do you think makes The Venue Experts different?: We really care about each other as a team, and we are all so supportive and hype each other up.

What would you say to wedding venues thinking about getting in touch?: Do it! Honestly, the time it will save you to have The Venue Experts in charge of your sales and marketing will make it SO worth it. 

What has been your career highlight at The Venue Experts so far?: Organising my first ever venue showcase, with more to come!

How do you think the rest of The Venue Experts would describe you?: Very excitable! And that I get the job done.

How long have you worked at The Venue Experts?: Just 2 weeks.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?: The variety of things I get to work on, from designing look books to creating content and scheduling for social media platforms. 

What do you think makes The Venue Experts different?: Our positive approach to everything – nothing is impossible!

What would you say to wedding venues thinking about getting in touch?: Don’t wait around, just get in contact straight away! There are so many different things that The Venue Experts have to offer to support your growing wedding venue.

How do you think the rest of The Venue Experts would describe you?: I would say creative, as I love design work.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?: Being able to learn new skills every day. 

What do you think makes The Venue Experts different?: Everyone at The Venue Experts works closely together and knows each other really well. The relationship we all have feels like a lovely family.

What would you say to wedding venues thinking about getting in touch?: Go for it! We will always go above and beyond for you and your venue. Everyone in our team is valuable in their own way, which is why our skills combined will make you and your venue shine.

What has been your career highlight at The Venue Experts so far?: Being able to visit the venues we work with in person.

How do you think the rest of The Venue Experts would describe you?: Definitely an interesting human! I think they’d describe me as bubbly, funny and weird (in a good way!).
