Cripps & Co run a number of luxury wedding and events venues throughout the UK. The Venue Experts provide full service wedding venue sales support for three of these settings: Thorpe Garden in Staffordshire, Grangefields in Derbyshire and Shustoke Barn in Warwickshire.
Thorpe Garden comprises a beautiful hand-crafted wooden yurt and contemporary ceremony room in the countryside just outside Tamworth. With space for up to 140 wedding guests, an open kitchen with rotisserie, and a truly unique ceremony space, it’s a beautiful venue for weddings and celebrations.
Based on the historic Trusley Estate, Grangefields is a brand-new barn venue, offering space for up to 140 wedding guests in the Oak Room, and 180 the Dutch Barn. The beautiful courtyard, outdoor spaces and show kitchen with BBQ, French rotisserie and rotating pizza oven add the final finishing touches to this beautiful venue.
Shustoke Barn is an outstanding 18th century red-brick barn set around a private courtyard. This stunning licensed venue has capacity for 140 seated guests and plenty of room for up to 200 guests for evening events. Serving up amazing feasts, this location serves up a variety of options including an à la carte menu, barbecues, rotisseries, street food and delicious handmade pizzas.
A hat-trick of marketing success
We handle all sales and enquiries for each Cripps & Co venue allowing the event managers and operations teams to concentrate on planning and managing the actual events.
As well as helping to define their position within the market and implement a sales strategy, we also look after prospective customers at all points of the sales journey. From managing the initial enquiries and creating bespoke emails enticing couples to visit, to booking in qualified viewings, following these up, and handing over a provisional booking to the internal teams, The Venue Experts make sure each lead is carefully nurtured.
Thorpe Garden opened in late 2019, just before the pandemic, so needed a boost with conversions to increase revenue, while Grangefields is a brand-new venue, having opened in August 2021. Shustoke Barn is a well established and extremely popular venue, so our sales support allows the events team more time to plan and manage their first-class events.
